Vision changes his life occurred when he tried to introduce computers into several regions in Africa. However, the richest man in the world soon realize how ridiculous the idea of introducing computers when he saw how bad life there in 1997.
At that time, in the middle of his visit in Africa, Gates went to a hospital where the patient was treated tuberculosis. Narrated by his wife, Melinda Gates, at that time called her husband with a little sob. She stammered, Gates tried to tell him what happened.
"It was the first time he (Bill Gates) came to visit the tuberculosis clinic. She felt very touched and sniffed telling me how awful it feels to be suffering from the disease there," the story of Melinda.
With difficulty, Gates continuously saying that admission to hospital it felt like a death sentence. That moment changed the Gates became a philanthropist and constantly strive to eradicate poverty wherever possible.
After the incident anyway, he decided to donate some money to the hospital. For Gates, he will try to help the patients with malaria and tuberculosis worldwide.
"Although still believe in the digital world, but it no longer is in my top priority. It is now clearly visible in front of me," he said.
