~ Not long ago scientist have identified a new marine reptile fossils found in the Isle of Skye,Skotland. Marined reptiles that lived in the time dinosaur was named ''Dearcmhara Shawcrossi''.
Dearcmhara estimated lived about 170 million years ago. Reptile with a length of 4.2 meters or motor boat is expected to hunt fish and marine reptiles shallow Scotland during his lifetime.
This marine reptile fossils were first discovered in 1959 by an amateur fossil collector named Brian Shawcross who donate it to the museum.
The word "Deacmhara" is taken from the Gaelic meaning sea lizards. While the word "Shawcrossi" is taken from the man who discovered the fossil was first, Brian Shawcross. This species is one of the few species that is called in Gaelic.
Dearcmhara an incoming marine reptiles as ichthyosaurs group. Ichthyosaur is reptilian predators who controlled the seas during the time of the dinosaurs, before the whale sharks and large appear.
Brusatte and colleagues found that the fossils contained bones and bone arm of ichthyosaur genus and new species.
